Performance Monitoring Unit
Many organizations are taking a closer look at their locomotives and working hard to make their fleet more efficient. This could mean investigating alternative fuels like batteries or hydrogen, or just better understanding what specific locomotives are doing every day.
Integral’s PMU has multiple analog and digital inputs, so you can track and record basically any data required from most modern locomotives: voltage, current, speed, fuel flow rate, throttle control, and much more! This allows you to get the clearest possible understanding of your locomotive’s performance, both when demands are at peak and overall totals/averages.
Data can be downloaded with Integral’s provided software to a laptop via the PMU’s USB port, or via remote telemetry services (provided by Integral or 3rd party)
