By upgrading to Independent Axle Control (IAC), our system provides a tractive effort increase of over 30% compared to typical configurations, ensuring maximum grip and power when it matters most.

Whether your fleet runs on diesel, battery, hybrid, or hydrogen power, our compact unit offers some of the highest available input and output voltages in the market today. It features full Buck/Boost integration for regenerative braking options and can also be used as a braking grid chopper.

Built for longevity, our robust architecture is designed to allow for isolating a single motor, ensuring continued operation with minimal loss of power. While compatible with all control systems, the Integral’s Chopper was built in conjunction with our LCC (locomotive control computer) so you can be assured of seamless integration throughout the entire system.

Available in both air-cooled and liquid-cooled configurations, it provides a customizable solution that fits into any space. Peak output of 1,500VDC makes our chopper compatible with basically every DC motor on the market, including the EMD D77, D78, and D87.
